Formed in 1983 in Düsseldorf/Germany, Start! were obviously heavily influenced by The Jam and the Mod Revival. But they added their very own harmonies and strong lyrics in German creating a very powerful Rickenbacker-driven Mod Pop.

Still today tracks such as „Der Beat“ and „Wie Du Das Machst“ sound as fresh as when they were recorded. Now for the first time on a 500 copies limited edition 13-track LP, you can explore what it felt like to be a Mod in Germany in 1985!
