Product Description

‘Full Circle’, is the third and much anticipated album from Jon Chamber’s SUNRAY and kicks off with the 11-minute cosmic grind of ‘Here To Go’, followed by the driving instrumental ‘Revelation’, both owing a debt to Krautrock innovators such as La Dusseldorf and Neu! ‘Take Me There’, A-side from the preceding single, brings the band back into more familiar territory, delicious psych-pop utilising a swaggering bassline and West Coast harmonies, before bringing it to a close on a sea of distorted guitars and a droning sitar groove.

The rest of the album is a more eclectic affair, exploring everything from, ‘Baby Honey’s, hallucinogenic guitar symphonies to pastoral folk, best heard on the gorgeous ‘Golden Dawn’, a reworking of Jeffrey Lee Pierce’s ‘Zona Rose’, and the Velvets-influenced ‘Thru The Night’. Featuring, for the first time, vocalist Sophie Ray plus string section, the album is a testimony to how much SUNRAY’s sound has evolved since their last LP in 2007.

Tracklist: Here To Go / Revelation / Take Me There / Baby Honey / Golden Dawn / Zona Rose / Tears At Sunrise / Thru The Night
