Product Description
Debut single from highly rated London indiepop three piece Tracey’s Love who have been setting the blogs alight with their demo from last year. The band comprises Jonathan Head, Chris Haslam and Simon Crawford, they formed just over a year ago with the aim of getting back to the pure early sounds of jangly indie pop. The title track Modern Hipster is a heartachingly beautiful lament which would have stood side by side with any of the releases of Sarah Records. The b side tracks Lipstick Girl and Shaddows are uptempo guitar pop recalling the halcyon days of indie pop, circa 1986, with it’s fast paced jangly guitars and Jonathan’s vocals. The bands consists of two guitarists and a drummer and no bass, creating a fantastic sound, think Orange Juice mixed with The Shaggs.
